I&#039;m going to offer up a &quot;bad reason&quot; for litigation...precedent building and hoping that the more &quot;conservative&quot; (non-political sense) courts will be more likely to help them retain their conventional means of making money, which seemed so profitable. Rather than taking risks with new models, someone may have thought it might have been better to stay with the tried and true while in the process, shaping the law. However, the Pirate Bay trial seems to be backfiring on them...</description>
